Terms and Conditions
Second Chat Ltd Effective Date: 7 August 2026
1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions, including the Acceptable Use Policy below, set out the rules for how you may
use SecondChat. They apply to all users, streamers, moderators, and
fans/viewers.
This policy exists to protect our users, protect Second Chat Ltd, and
keep SecondChat a platform that people actually want to use. Violating
this policy may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent termination
of your account.
By using SecondChat, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Short Version
Don't be harmful. Don't be deceptive. Don't break the law. Don't ruin
it for everyone else.
The rest of this document explains what that means in practice.
3. Prohibited Conduct
3.1 Harassment and Abuse
You must not use SecondChat to:
- Harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, or abuse any other user
- Send unsolicited or repeated unwanted messages to any user
- Coordinate or incite harassment campaigns against individuals or groups
- Dox anyone, sharing or threatening to share someone's private personal information without consent
- Stalk or monitor another user's activity for harmful purposes
3.2 Hate Speech and Discrimination
You must not post, share, or transmit content that:
- Promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic
- Dehumanises individuals or groups
- Uses slurs or derogatory language to attack people
3.3 Illegal Content and Activity
You must not use SecondChat to:
- Share, distribute, or facilitate access to content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours
- Engage in or facilitate fraud, money laundering, or financial crime
- Violate intellectual property rights, including sharing copyrighted content without authorisation
- Engage in illegal gambling, unlicensed financial advice, or unlicensed regulated activities
- Facilitate the sale or distribution of illegal goods or services
3.4 Sexual and Exploitative Content
You must not post or transmit:
- Sexually explicit content of any kind through SecondChat's features
- Any content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers minors in any way, this is a zero-tolerance policy and will be reported to relevant authorities immediately
- Non-consensual intimate imagery or threats to share such imagery
3.5 Spam and Manipulation
You must not:
- Send spam, mass unsolicited messages, or repetitive content
- Use SecondChat to run phishing attacks, impersonation scams, or social engineering schemes
- Artificially inflate viewer counts, follower numbers, chat activity, or engagement metrics
- Use bots or automated tools to interact with SecondChat without our express written permission
- Create multiple accounts to evade a ban or suspension
3.6 Impersonation and Deception
You must not:
- Impersonate another person, streamer, moderator, or Second Chat Ltd staff
- Create misleading accounts or profiles
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Use SecondChat to spread deliberate misinformation or disinformation
You must not:
- Attempt to hack, probe, or test the security of SecondChat without authorisation
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities, if you find one, please report it responsibly to contact@secondchat.co
- Interfere with the app's infrastructure or attempt to disrupt service for other users
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from SecondChat
- Access or attempt to access another user's account without their permission
- Circumvent or attempt to bypass account bans, suspensions, or restrictions
3.8 Moderator Misuse
Moderators using SecondChat's mod tools must not:
- Use cross-platform moderation actions for personal vendettas or outside the scope of their moderation role
- Abuse mod permissions to target individual users for non-moderation reasons
- Share streamer credentials, stream keys, or sensitive channel information obtained through SecondChat
4. Content Standards
Any content you post, share, or transmit through SecondChat,
including messages, profile information, and community posts, must:
- Be truthful and not deliberately misleading
- Not violate any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or
other rights
- Comply with the laws of your country and England and Wales
- Not be designed to harm, manipulate, or deceive other users
5. Streamer Responsibilities
Streamers are responsible for the conduct of their mod teams
operating through SecondChat. If a moderator you have authorised misuses
SecondChat's tools, you may be held accountable alongside them.
Streamers must not use SecondChat to:
- Coordinate or direct targeted harassment of other creators or users
- Manipulate stream metrics in ways that violate connected platform terms
- Mislead fans or viewers about features, supporter benefits, or donation usage
6. Fan and Viewer Responsibilities
Fans and viewers using SecondChat's community features (Rooms,
supporter tiers, donations) must not:
- Use fan features to harass or stalk streamers or other fans
- Abuse donation or supporter features for fraudulent chargebacks
- Attempt to manipulate Fan Spotlight, recognition features, or community standing through artificial means
7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Notice)
SecondChat is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in accordance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has created an account or provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at contact@secondchat.co. We will investigate and delete any such information promptly.
Users must be at least 13 years old to create a SecondChat account. By using SecondChat, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
8. Reporting Violations
If you encounter behaviour that violates this policy, please report
it to us at:

Include as much detail as possible, username, description of the
behaviour, and any relevant screenshots or context.
For urgent safety concerns involving minors or imminent harm, please
also contact your local emergency services or relevant authorities
directly. SecondChat is not an emergency service.
9. Enforcement
We reserve the right to take any of the following actions in response
to violations of these Terms:
- Issue a warning
- Remove offending content
- Temporarily suspend your account
- Permanently terminate your account
- Report illegal activity to relevant law enforcement or regulatory
authorities
- Take legal action where appropriate
We may act without notice in serious cases, particularly where there
is an immediate risk of harm.
We are not obligated to monitor all user activity, but we reserve the
right to do so.
10. Appeals
If you believe your account has been suspended or terminated in
error, you may appeal by contacting us at
contact@secondchat.co with the subject line "Account
Appeal". We will review appeals within 14 days where possible.
We are not obligated to reinstate accounts that have been terminated
for serious or repeated violations.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time as the app
grows and evolves. We will notify you of material changes via the app or
email. Continued use of SecondChat after changes are posted means you
accept the updated policy.
